  1. This area examines how human beings learn, and use the insights of mainstream science and especially cognitive science to clarify misconceptions  (myths) that have entered the education system and prevented students and teachers from fulfilling human potential.

I start with the a cognitive science model of human learning and then follow this with a Monograph  released in 2013  by Dunlosky et al (includes Professor Dan. Willingham) that reviews the top 10 approaches based on a review of the literature.
